In this world where appearance is everything, your smile is the key to it, to keep up our many of us might have started taking some precautions also like brushing teeth twice, flossing everyday, avoiding sugar, going to your dentist on a regular basis, drinking less tea or coffee and many other precautions we take to keep our smile the best but have you ever realized that there are some other precautions also that we just ignore for our smile. These precautions are that should not be ignored as they are so meant for your smile. Here we will discuss some of the small precautions that we usually don’t take but are very important for our smile to be the best.

Spit out your fluoride:-

We usually find fluoride in all of the toothpaste on the shelf of the supermarket. Fluoride is good for your teeth as it whitens up your teeth. Fluoride not only helps you whiten your teeth but it also removes the cavity away from your teeth, moreover, it helps you repair your tooth decay at the early age. Fluoride gets absorbed by the enamel layer of your teeth and helps you whiten your teeth. After brushing your teeth just spit it out but don’t rinse for some seconds to get the fluoride particles active on the enamel layer of your teeth. Moreover, fluoride also stops the decay in your mouth and prevents the tooth decay.

Keep your toothbrush away for toilet:-

Your toothbrush is something you use every day to clean your teeth but cleaning our teeth is good but absorbing the dirt it is not good. Your toothbrush is something that you have to keep safely and away from bacteria’s. If you keep your toothbrush near the toilet there are not only some but many chances that you are also taking in bacteria’s while you are cleaning your teeth. If you keep your toothbrush near the toilet after using it when someone flushes there are some chances that the bacteria can fly to your and land to your toothbrush. Thus keeping your toothbrush in a safe place when you are not using it is the best way to protect and prevent yourself from unwanted bacteria’s.

Don’t share your toothbrush:-

No matter how close you are with someone even if it is blood-related, an individual should not share their toothbrush with anyone. You should only be the one to use your toothbrush without any exceptions. Not because if someone is having some disease which is communicable like cold or fever but also because each individual has different bacteria which people should not share with others to prevent themselves from unwanted bacteria’s that is not good for your health. Thus, keeping your toothbrush with yourself without allowing any other to use it is the best way to keep yourself safe.

Don’t rush:-

Maybe everyone thinks to brush their teeth just before bed after having some sugary or acidic drink is good for your teeth, but, no it is not. When you consume something sugary or acidic you already cause some problems that may affect the enamel layer of your teeth but some after drinking something sugary or acidic brushing your teeth can destroy the enamel layer of your teeth more. After drinking something sugary or acidic you should just rinse your mouth with normal water then after one or two hours you can brush your teeth to keep your teeth safe.

Don’t Brush too much:-

The enamel layer of your teeth is the strongest part in your body, but this does not mean that it can not be destroyed if you brush your teeth too much you can destroy the enamel layer of your teeth yourself. Although brushing your teeth is not bad but brushing your teeth to many times is bad for the enamel layer of your teeth. Just brush your teeth twice a day and give it just two minutes twice a day every day.

These are some of the precautions but there are many other precautions also that we usually don’t take for our dental health which is very important for our dental health. Again to keep up your smile the best you should think of every single thing to keep your smile the best.
